Completed on a cold December day - 12.5.13

I found this will rummage through a box of some of my property - it is a hooked rug that I did in 1971 when I lived in Michigan.  I had purchased a blank backing and designed the pattern myself - then drew the pattern on the blank backing and hooked it the winter of 1971 to 1972.

This is the first oil painting of a human figure that I have ever done - it was an experiment in getting the body proportions and musculature correct.
