Visage mélancolique (Modified) I did this acrylic facial abstract in April of 2017 and, as with a couple of other pieces I have done in the past, did not like the finished product - so I revisited the piece and reworked it - sometimes leaving a piece alone for a while and going back to it is helpful

Modification to Previous Watercolor

The close up shows the original watercolor that I did in June 2015.  I was never really satisfied with the face on the original; therefore, after a lot of forethought, I went back to the original and did some modifications with watercolor pencil in an attempt to get a less "goony" looking face.
