The second individual print was done on paper that I made by stenciling with a discarded piece of gutter guard material

From a previously done batik - I kept one of the sheets of paper towel that I had used to absorb the wax from the linen image by applying a hot iron - I found that the pattern of the crackle in the linen was transposed to the paper towel - the pattern towel was not a workable surface to draw on - therefore copied the pattern from the paper towel to a piece of rice paper using my printer as a copier - I then used the rice paper as the surface to draw this face.
