Owl ( I found a tree burr, detached and lie on the forest floor behind our house.. It apparently had fallen off. A tree that had been knocked down by the was dying.. I thought the bird looked like an owl. And I applied acrylic paints and embossing fluid to accentuate that idea

When I lived in England, we came across a quaint pub and restaurant. The pub, itself, was small and could seat only 6 people. Besides those that stood at the bar. Our preferred place to sit in the pub was in one of the four old over stuffed chairs by the fireplace. Especially cozy on a cold and snowing day. My drink of choice was to pints of homemade ale. The restaurant was in the room next to the pub. It had abotu 8 tables that sat 4 people. After a spell in the pub we would go into the restaurant. This was our place to celebrate special events in life - like birthdays, anniversaries, promtions, etc. We even celebrated my brother-in-law's marriage there - since we could not get back to the US to attend the ceremony. Looks of good memories from our visits there. Sad to say the pub no longer exists.
