Stroll Along the Seine (Oil)

When I was in Paris this March, I decided to stroll along the Seine River from my hotel (across the river from the Tuileries Garden) to the Le Marais on the first Monday of my visit.  During this walk, I came upon a woman who was smartly dressed in a wool coat, hat and gloves (the first time I saw her, I was struck by her classic look); however, I did not see her face - only saw her from behind - she was walking ahead of me. As I strolled more, I came upon her two more times - and each time  I was always behind her - I never saw her face but was stuck by her composure as she walked ahead of me - I decided to take a picture of her - which I latter did a pencil sketch of - with the intentions of doing a more permanent and enhanced picture of her.  This oil painting is my rendition of her and her stroll along the Seine
